1. How to train
In order to train, you start a thread and at the end of it's title, place:
~Training~
then, it is your decision whether or not people may join in with you or not.
2. Training Requirements
You may have noticed the bottom of the abilities lists "Training Requirements". When you want to learn a new ability, you must learn it through training.when you train for the new attack, remember one thing:
If it's power level is too high, then do not try to learn it. You cannot learn a techniques that has a power level higher then your power level.(Of course, if you transform and your power is increased, you can learn the attack like that, but you may only use it when transformed or when you increase your Power Level)
In order to gain a new ability, you must successfully complete the requirements. Lets say these are the requirements to some random attack you want to learn:
Focus Ki to Palm + Focus Ki to Beam
First, you would make one post, and that one post would be your character trying to focus there Ki into their palm correctly for the attack. Of course, you can have more then one post, in fact we urge you to have more then one. But, when you are done making the first step, P.M. a mod/admin, and they will examine it for you. If they think you did not try very hard/didn't get descriptive enough(Or if you wrote like:
I charged my Ki.
I charged it to my palm.)
Then they would tell you to post more. However, if they did not tell you to do so, then you may continue to the next step. If you are training with someone, then it is advised that you both look over each others posts and make suggestions before going to the staff.
Finally, when your character knows how to use the technique, you must practice with it more, so your character begins to learn how to use it.
*Cannon Characters MAY NOT learn any new abilities beyond there own, UNLESS they have a special reason.(No, that doesn't mean if he/she just HAS to learn a certain attack.)*
3. Training Equipment
You may buy training equipment from the shop. When you do, they enhance your training ability, and may even help you get better. Especially if your character is at a disadvantage in any criteria in training.
4. Training Buddies
You are allowed to train with any number of other people. Some people may watch, and observe you training, and some my take part in it. When training with someone else, there are two ways you can train:
1. battle -
Sparring with a partner is a great way to train, and you may learn the ability faster by doing it like this. Just remember it is a sparring match, NO death-hits or permanent-damage.
2. Side-By-Side -
By studying each other, you may help each other learn an ability by doing things like giving pointers and sharing equipment.
5. Transformation training
In order to GAIN a transformation, you must make different threads(ONE AT A TIME) of your character, and your character alone, of at least two full pages of posts, of you training. You may use equipment to help you.
6. Fusion Dance
You must train with another person to fully grasp the fusion dance.
There are two steps to learning it:
1. The basic Dance:
Both characters must first learn the dance and how it is preformed.
2. Learning how t successfully fuse:
Then, both characters have to learn how to correctly fuse together. As the ability states, the technique has two major draw-backs when transforming. And, since you have to wait and hour and thirty minutes to de-fuse(And refuse, for that matter) it may take quit some time to fully grasp. I expect nothing less then two pages, except if you both do an incredibly awesome job.
7. Training Power Level
You do not have to train for an ability. In fact, there are two other ways to train. the first way is leveling up your power level. In order to do this, you have to train constantly and consistently to gain an increase. That increase(Determined by a mod/admin) can range anywhere from 1-1000 points, depending on the amount of effort put into the posts. However, you may only come to a mod/admin to rate AFTER you are done with the training. Cannot be done with a training partner.
8. Sparring
The second way extra training technique is sparring, fighting with another character in order to increase both Power Levels/gain an ability/ or just to kill time. When sparring, the person who "won" gains the most Power points. CANNOT use planet bursts, death-hits, or permanent wounds on the other characters. Must be done with more then one character.
